    Portrait of a Stolen Spring is an internationally acclaimed musical drama that tells the true story of Chaja Zimmerman and Moses Kalter, two Ukrainian Jews who left their homeland at the beginning of the 20th century hoping to reach America via the port of Antwerp on the Red Star Line. Poignant, stirring, and beautifully performed, this production debuted in 2003 to unanimous critical praise and packed houses, and received numerous international awards. Featuring the original Belgian cast. Performed in English.

    From October 20 through December 29, the Touchstone Center for Children in collaboration with the Abrons Arts Center present a unique exhibition featuring works by established artists such as Joanne Howard, Luis Serrano, Benjamin Swett and others as well as work by the children of the East Village Community School, focusing on and drawing inspiration from the powerful symbol and metaphor trees play.

Based on the classic tale by Washington Irving, Sleepy Hollow is a beautifully mounted, large-scale shadow puppet re-telling of the legend. The production features an original score by Vivian Fung, performed live by a chamber ensemble. Directed by Gretchen Van Lente. Puppets designed by James Walton.
